「RIKKA（立夏）」とは、日本語で「夏のはじまり」を意味する。初夏は万物のエネルギーが凝縮され、「さわやかな５月の空に鯉が元気に泳ぐ」季節です。WORLD ART DUBAI 2024 では尾潟 糧天と大蔵山スタジオの作品を通して、水や石といった自然が持つ爽快なエネルギーを伝えたいと考えています。

北海道下川町出身
2021 年から現代画家として活動を始める。 北海道の自然豊かな環境で育った経験にヒントを見出し、 主に海をモチ フに
した作品を制作している。 絵画作品を軸としつつ、 自然とテクノロジ をクロスさせたデジタル作品や身体的なパフォ
マンス作品など、 様々なメディアを横断しながらパラレルに
自然を描き出している。

大蔵山スタジオ
1887年に創業された大蔵山スタジオが本社を構える大蔵山は、宮城県南部の阿武隈山系北端に位置する標高300mほどの里山です。
大蔵山スタジオは、世界的に珍しい表情を持った伊達冠石の採石、その加工・施工を高い技術を誇る自社のスタッフでトータルで行っています。
アート・デザイン・建築の分野で活躍するクリエイターの方々と協業しながら、アートピース、建築、そしてプロダクトなどさまざまな形で伊達冠石の力強さと美しさを世に送り出しています。
RIKKA GALLERY opened on June 2021, debuting with the group exhibition “HUMANITY” by Nanae Mitobe and Natsuki Takayama.
The gallery aim is to promote a new wave emerging in Japanese art and design deeply rooted in the tradition and the nature of Japan. RIKKA GALLERY considers art as a part of a luxury lifestyle: alongside design and interiors, art makes our living space better.
“Rikka” means the “inauguration of summer” in Japanese. The first days of summer is a period in which all beings energy is concentrated and “Carps swim happily in the crisp May sky”. We want to convey the same invigorating energy of the nature, water and stone, through the art of Ryoten Ogata and Okurayama Studio.
About Ryoten Ogata
The young artist Ryoten Ogata portrays aerial photographs of the sea captured by drones in a realistic style, imbuing them with a sculptural quality. Beyond traditional painting, he explores different mediums like digital art and performance art, all while aiming to convey the subtle beauty of nature.
About Okurayama Studio
Okurayama Studio delivers the strength and beauty of Daté Kan Stone to the world in a variety of forms such as art pieces, construction, products and other projects while collaborating with successful creators in the fields of art, design, and architecture.
